Second day out and we haven't killed each other...It's been an adventure though. Tornado watches yesterday in Oriental and again today in Belhaven...We may get to spend an extra day here in Belhaven...Nice marina (been here before) and they have a happy hour every day at 5...Boat is running fine and we didn't forget much, so we are looking forward to Elizabeth City, The Dismal Swamp, and Norfolk by Sunday (Monday if we get a weather delay). We will try to figure out how to post a picture, too. R&L

Mazel Tug leaving the comfort and safety of her home dock at Fairfield Harbour, New Bern, NC...One big leap of faith, but we are ready for whatever life brings us...

We are actually getting ready to leave on our Northern Cruise...If all goes well, we will be underway Tuesday (4-29) for a short 3 hour cruise (tour?) to Oriental...There we hope to meet up with another looper , Fruitcakes, and proceed to Norfolk via the Dismal Swamp route... Stay tuned...
